Kern Audubon Society, Inc., a Chapter of the National Audubon Society, located in Bakersfield and serving much of Kern County, California since 1973. Audubon's mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity. The Chapter continually plans a number of exciting, fun, and educational projects for the community.
